Author Guidelines
Procedure for submitting and processing submissions:
- the author submits the manuscript to the editorial office;
- confirmation of receipt and acceptance of the manuscript for consideration;
- initial review of the manuscript;
- notification of the author regarding the results of the review;
- in-depth examination of the manuscript (peer review);
- notification of the author regarding the results of the peer review;
- notification of the article’s acceptance for publication, including payment details.
All communication between the editorial board and authors takes place via email.
Articles that are prepared in accordance with the requirements set out in the sections Requirements for manuscripts and Submission, and which have successfully passed the initial review by the editorial board without any comments or objections, will be accepted for review. Materials that deviate from the established rules will not be accepted for further consideration.
If comments are raised during the initial review, the article may be rejected or returned to the author for revision by a specified deadline. At this stage, the text is also checked for plagiarism and the use of artificial intelligence tools. The decision on how to proceed — whether to revise the manuscript in accordance with the provided recommendations or decline the revisions and thereby withdraw the article from consideration — rests with the author(s).
The second stage of the publication process involves a blind peer review. Following this, the editorial board will decide whether to accept the material for publication, reject it, or give the author(s) the opportunity to revise the manuscript within a set timeframe.
Main reasons for rejecting submitted article:
- the manuscript contains breaches of academic integrity;
- the article lacks scientific novelty;
- the research is either incomplete or poorly structured;
- the research section of the article is not presented convincingly, and the methodology proposed by the author is unclear and unsubstantiated;
- the article contains conclusions that are not supported by facts and arguments, which do not comply with current Ukrainian legislation or violate generally accepted ethical and moral standards;
- the style of presentation does not meet the requirements of academic writing;
- the article uses sources and references in Russian.
The following should be submitted to the editorial office via email to olena.stefanyshyn@wunu.edu.ua:
- an electronic version of the article;
- a certified review by a Doctor of Science or Candidate of Science in the relevant field (for authors without an academic degree);
- a separate page containing the author’s details (full surname, first name and patronymic, organisation, position, address, academic degree, academic title, contact telephone numbers, email address).
- a scanned receipt for payment of publication fees (to be sent only after the editorial board has notified the author that the article has been accepted for publication in a specific issue).
