Licensing and Copyright
The journal adheres to the principles of open access; therefore, all published materials are free of charge to readers. Users may freely view, download and cite the full texts of articles, provided that the authors are duly acknowledged.
The journal’s publications are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International Licence, which prohibits the use of materials for commercial purposes, as well as the creation and distribution of derivative works based on them.
Issues of authorship and the resolution of disputes between co-authors and the editorial board are resolved in accordance with the principles of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) and the recommendations of WAME (World Association of Medical Editors).
Co-authors are considered to be individuals who have made a significant intellectual contribution to the work, namely:
- participated in the conception or design of the study, or in the collection, analysis or interpretation of data;
- contributed to the writing or critical review of the manuscript;
- approved the final version and assumed responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of all aspects of the work.
The number of co-authors must not exceed five. Any changes to the authorship list after the manuscript has been published require the written consent of all co-authors. The addition or removal of co-authors after the manuscript has been accepted or during the proofreading stage is not permitted.
The corresponding author coordinates communication between the authors and the editorial board, ensures a timely response to the editorial board’s enquiries, and confirms that all co-authors have agreed to the order of authorship, have reviewed the manuscript, have approved it, and have declared any conflicts of interest and sources of funding.
By publishing in the journal, authors retain the right of authorship and grant permission for the free distribution of their works with a mandatory reference to the original source, and may also independently distribute all versions of the articles on various platforms.
Authors are obliged to ensure the accuracy of quotations and bibliographic references. The use of copyright-protected materials is permitted only with the written consent of the copyright holder. Submitted works must be original, not previously published in full or in part, and must not be under consideration by other publications. Fabrication, falsification or manipulation of data is unacceptable and is considered a breach of scientific ethics.
No more than one article by a single author, including co-authorship, may be published in a single issue of the journal.
