The journal’s target audience is academics and practitioners, lecturers, postgraduate students, master’s students and undergraduates.

The journal publishes articles, reviews and critiques focusing on current issues in historical thought.

The academic journal's primary objective is to promote the development and dissemination of contemporary academic research in Ukrainian history, historiography, source studies, world history, cultural history, specialised historical disciplines, ethnology.

Objectives of the journal:

- to foster the dissemination of academic knowledge and practical experience in the fields of history;

- to provide a platform for professional dialogue between scholars conducting research in various areas of the humanities;

- to present the results of doctoral research in the fields of history to the wider academic community;

- to provide young researchers, postgraduate students and doctoral candidates with the opportunity to acquire methodological training and publish academic articles in the humanities;

- to introduce new sources, archival materials and research studies in history into the academic discourse;

- ensure open access to current research findings in the field of historical sciences;

-to promote the development of an interdisciplinary approach to the study of historical processes and phenomena.

The authors publications are expected to demonstrate a systematic analysis of the issues under consideration, as well as innovation and originality in scholarly enquiry. They should also present well-reasoned research propositions and demonstrate the relevance and practical significance of their conclusions and recommendations.
